The Škoda Yeti (codenamed Typ 5L) is a compact SUV that was designed and built by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto. It was introduced at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in March, as the carmaker's first entry into the popular SUV market. In 2009, the Yeti was awarded Family Car of the Year by Top Gear Magazine. The successor to the Yeti, announced towards the end of 2017 is the Škoda Karoq.
